قبل أن أوضح طريقة استرجاع بريدك المسروق على الهوتميل يرجى ممن لا يرغب بضياع بريده اتباع الخطوات التالية حرفيا:
1- إنشاء مجلدات داخل البريد الالكتروني الخاص بك بأسماء تحفظها جيدا
2- إبقاء رسائل في بريدك الوارد تحمل عناوين معينة سجلها على ورقة واحفظها للرجوع لها عند اللزوم
3- تأكد من أن تعمل على البريد الالكتروني في مكان واحد (البيت مثلا) أو على الاقل أن يكون اكبر عملك عليه من مكان واحد. وعليك أن تحفظ رقم الآي بي الخاص بمزود خدمة الانترنت. احفظ أيضا اسم الشركة المزودة لخدمات الانترنت واحفظ عنوانها.
4- تأكد من أنك تعرف السؤال السري وكلمة السر,.وفي حال لم تعرفها فلا بأس
5- من المفيد أن تحفظ آخر ثلاث كلمات سر استعملتها على البريد الالكتروني
6- من المهم جدا جدا أن تكون متسجلا في البريد باسمك الحقيقي وبتاريخ ميلادك الحقيقي وكذلك رقم البريد وغير ذلك.
الآن لنفرض أن أحدا سرق بريدك لا سمح الله فماذا تفعل؟

ولايفوتنى ان انبه انه بعد استرجاع ايميلك ان تتخذ الخطوات الاتيه:
1 - تغيير السؤال السرى والدوله المسجل بها .
2 - تغيير كلمة السر كما وضحت سابقا وحفظ التغييرات فى مفكره خارجية حتى لا يسرق مرة أخرى.
3 - إنشاء مجلدين جديدين في الحساب وتسميتهم باسماء تحفظونها .
فذكر اسم هذان المجلدان يساعد في عملية استعادة البريد المسروق
